I plan to utilize this website as a platform to showcase my work and provide it with an online presence. Besides studying Journalism, I also study Dance at SDSU. I’ve been teaching dance classes and performing throughout my years in college. I hope JMS 430 will help me narrow down my career aspirations and figure out what I want to do in the journalism field in the future. In an ideal, futuristic world, I would find a career that allows me to continue writing, dancing, and teaching.
During my semester in JMS 430, I covered fashion, sustainability, and college students. I looked into how SDSU students find ways to have their own unique sense of style without contributing to the environmental harms of fast fashion.
